Assembly Required

Drawing from the political and social momentum in response to the 2016 presidential election, Assembly Required was created to provide a creative outlet and call to action for artists and activists. The aim was to diversify the signs and symbols used in popular protest movements while giving voice and opportunity to anyone who wished to contribute.

At the outset over 50 artists and designers generously donated their work and in effect gave shape to the mood of the time. The site now exists in perpetuity as a gallery and public resource providing free, high-resolution protest materials for nonpartisan and left-leaning issues.
